![]() If anything, it would bring he and his children closer. I mean, why did the dad say his ex-wife’s murder and this case hindered his fulfillment of responsibility and love for his children? That makes zero sense to me. I’ve watched several documentaries where a person is accused of murdering a family member, and they are never unwilling to talk about it or about their innocence. I believe he knows that if he speaks to police, they will uncover whatever it is that he is hiding. Maybe he knows exactly what happened to her even if her murder wasn’t orchestrated by him. It might not be murder, but it’s something bad enough to where he refuses to speak to police. And if the anecdotes in this post are any indication, the people of Connecticut in general have some weird shit happening behind closed doors. It's seeming like the predominant reason why, if innocent, the dad comes off so suspect is because he has his own secrets (as it seems the mother did, and her family and friends do, too) that prevent him from speaking freely. But at the same time, I also would assume that someone who did murder (or put into place the murder of) their kids' mom probably wouldn't have qualms straight up lying about it.
